Come and sing this beautiful work on Good Friday (April 3rd) under the inspired direction of Veronica Fewkes.
This is a charity event and all proceeds (after costs) from ticket sales and a collection will go to Family Support Work: the Sussex charity for children.
Singers please arrive from 1.30pm ready to start the rehearsal at 2pm.
There is limited rehearsal time so you will find a working knowledge of the music useful.
Practice tracks for all parts can be found here: https://www.choralia.net/st01mp3/st01mp3en.htm
The score can be accessed for free on IMSLP: https://s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/9/94/IMSLP46732-PMLP99554-Stainer--Crucifixion--vocal_score.pdf
You can borrow a score on the day at no extra cost.
All singers are welcome to attend an optional additional rehearsal on Monday 30th March (7.15 - 9.15pm) in Seaford Baptist Church).
Refreshements and a homemade afternoon tea included in the £10 ticket price.
The performance, which forms the main part of the St. Leonard's Good Friday service, will start at 6.30pm. It's a lovely event. The dress code is anything suitable for a Good Friday service.
