Singing at Home

We are all now well into social distancing and self isolation probably for many months to come. However, this wonderful digital age in which we all now live has vast resources to offer we amateur singers. To name a few, that gregarious hugely popular musician Gareth Malone has a sing along practice session on You Tube every evening at 17.30, borrowing our MD’s warm-up exercises! Our librarian Alisa is enthralled and a daily devotee. Steve and Christina have also been heard singing along too. Choraline, a website familiar to fellow choir members, has also introduced ‘theselfislolationchoir’ where you can join in with Mozarts’Requiem’ and Handels ‘Messiah’ –

Although we have not been able to learn Maunders ‘Olivet to Calvary’ you can hear it on You Tube instead, this coming Friday.
