Wonderful Spring Concert

Tonight the choir and their guest soloists raised the roof and the heavens in St Leonard’s Church. The Chairman commented that people were moved as never before, hairs were standing on the back of their necks, and we had never sounded so good. Colin Hughes has lifted the choir to another level, accompanied by the wonderful organ playing of John Eady. Rachel Shouksmith, Rebecca Anstey and Andrew Mackenzie Wicks entertained us delightfully with well chosen solos and duets in what proved to be a very popular programme of Choral classics.
