  We have now had 4 rehearsals and have covered a pleasing amount of the concert repertoire thus far. Thank you very much for working so hard, particularly in the last couple of rehearsals where I have demanded much of you all. The difficult part at the moment is picking up notes for your next phrase, following an “instrumental” section. If you can find any time to listen to the pieces, this will help you to develop a musical memory of the pieces and hopefully improve things for starting new phrases.  Thank you all very much for your continued enthusiasm in our music-making.
