As previously notified, the Annual General Meeting of the Seaford Choral Society will be held in The Baptist Church, Belgrave Road, Seaford

on Monday 29 September 2025 at 6:15pm.

The current officers of the Society are:

Chair: Steve Machan

Deputy Chair/Website Coordinator: Simon Foster

Treasurer: Rick Wiles

Current Committee members are Monica Darnborough, Ralph Wood (Librarian), Rowena Reeve, Diane Callender, Alison Mowbray (Publicity Manager), Denise Evans (Concert Manager - co-opted), Veronica Fewkes. Catherine Delderfield stood down.

One vacancy exists.

Other roles include: Safeguarding Officer - Ruth Whitelaw, Technical support and web management - Jonathan Chappell, First Aid - Diane Callender and Steve Machan. We would appreciate support in all roles. You need not be a committee member.

As agreed at the AGM of 2019, committee members are not bound by strict pre-defined job roles but encouraged to contribute their skills in whatever way fits.

Nominations can be accepted at the meeting providing the nominee is present and indicates his or her willingness to serve, and a seconder can be found.

Please do make an effort to attend this event. Everyone is very welcome and it is your chance to make your views about the way the Society runs known to your Committee and to other members. This meeting is not held merely to fulfil a legal requirement; we really do want to know how you feel about your Society, and to hear your ideas for improving it.

The meeting will immediately precede the rehearsal

10. Your approval is sought for the rental of library space.
