Duruflé Requiem
To help you gear up for the new term, here are a couple of recordings of our main work. They are both performed by Trinity College Cambridge Choir with organist Harrison Cole and directed by Stephen Layton. Both performances are wonderful and you will notice a very high level of involvement from all the choir (from memory, note....). The Pie Jesu movement is really quite something, what a voice! You might also be aware that tragically, the outstanding organist in these recordings, died earlier this year.
I am very much looking forward to working on this music with you in September. We have several other pieces (mostly very well known) to add to the programme but these recordings will suffice for now.
